It could be said that the spirit of Last Castle Left was established back in the innocent year of 2009, when a young and bright eyed Andy Rohde excitedly wrapped up his first assignment for his vocational telecommunications class; the first time he ever outlined, shot, and edited a video project.
It could also be said that the body of Last Castle Left was established when a not-so-young and bright eyed Andy Rohde got fed up with his dead-end day job where he was NOT outlining, shooting, or editing anything.
He decided to do something about it.

(Ok we're done with the third-person stuff)

Hi there, I'm Andy Rohde.
I've had the absolute pleasure working out of the local metro Detroit area over the past few years, and it has been incredibly rewarding to be a part of this city's creative output. I've had the privilege of working with such fantastic companies and organizations such as Lucky Rock Wine co., Vector Media, Zap Zone, and Emagine Theatres, among others, and I am extremely thankful to each and every one of them for the opportunities and memories they've given me.

What I hope to bring to projects is not just a unique voice and vision, but a grounded clarity as well. I've seen (and been a part of) my share of projects that have gone haywire or died on their path to completion, and my goal has always been to do whatever I can to prevent that from happening to anyone else. Even if not working directly with you, I am more than happy to consult or advise.
Proficient but always learning the fields of digital photography, filmography, graphic design, and digital editing, I'll always make sure to do our absolute damndest to help pump your creative project full of lifeblood. Drop me a line at my contact page if you're interested, and if not...well, thanks for taking the time to hear me ramble on anyway!
On the set, and without a clue (Early production shoot, 2011-ish?)
